Bronx Man Wins 53rd Atlantic City Marathon

A 26-year-old Bronx, man and a 30-year-old Lansdowne, PA., woman won the 53rd annual Atlantic City Marathon earlier today.

Ahiyut Endhle finished the marathon in 2 hours, 26 minutes and 28 seconds as the overall winner.

Sheila Klick was the women’s winner in 2:56.06.

Russian runner Liubov Denisova, 40, won the half-marathon in 1:18.15. She had a remarkable pace of a 4-minute mile throughout the 13.1-mile race.

Brian Quilty, 22, of Brick (Monmouth County) won the men’s portion of the half-marathon in 1:18.50.

The Atlantic City Marathon also included a 5K and a 10K run as part of the festivities.
