Irvington Police executed an arrested warrant on April 22, 2013 for a Bronx man accused of selling Suboxone, a prescription drug used for opioid (narcotic) addiction, to an undercover police officer.

Darren Ciofalo, 27, was picked up from the Westchester County Jail and brought before an Irvington judge where he was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class C felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony.

Ciofalo allegedly sold the drug to undercover officers in March and also has similar pending charges against him in other municipalities, police said. He was released back to the Westchester County Jail without bail after appearing in Irvington court.
