On February 18, 2017, at approximately 1:30 a.m. in Bethlehem, NY, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation.
The driver of the vehicle, Jose A. Martinez, 20, of Bronx, NY, was found to be in possession of oxycodone* and marijuana. He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, where he was subsequently charged with:
Martinez was arraigned before the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or bond.
*Oxycodone is a pain medication and is a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
