A investigation by Westchester County Police and Port Chester Police detectives led to the arrest of a Bronx man on drug charges after the discovery of more than a half ounce of cocaine in his car, according to Port Chester Police.
Investigators working on an on-going drug investigation stopped a car driven by Vincent Riccio, 42, of 536 Van Nest Ave., the Bronx, at about 7:40 p.m. Friday on College Avenue in Port Chester. Police said investigators were looking for a car that matched the description of the one driven by Riccio and when he failed to signal when he made a turn they stopped the car to question him.
During the investigation, police said two packages containing cocaine were discovered in the car’s glove compartment.
Riccio was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
