Bronx Families To Receive School Books & Supplies

On Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., AT&T and New York Public Library will host a pop-up “Back to School Literacy” event to distribute school supplies and books to local Bronx families including children participating in The Fresh Air Fund Summer Spaces program.

The “Back to School Literacy” pop-up will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. (while supplies last), at a The Fresh Air Fund Summer Spaces Program site, located at 1155 Cromwell Avenue (near PS 114.)

The event will be attended by Bronx families, Deputy Borough President Marricka Scott-McFadden Leandra Feliz, mother of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz Fatima Shama, Executive Director, The Fresh Air Fund Representatives from the New York Public Library and AT&T.
