Bronx Ex-Con Convicted For Prison Weapon

A Buffalo jury today found Charles Hood, 26, a Bronx ex-con, guilty as charged on a first-degree promoting prison contraband count for having a shaving razor blade fashioned into a weapon at the Gowanda Correctional Facility on June 24, 2013.

Hood, who served over a year in prison on a Bronx robbery conviction now faces a prison term of up to seven years when State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns sentences him November 18, 2014.
