Cops collared the man and woman wanted in the vicious stabbing that left a teen clinging to life in Bronx, police said Saturday.

Victor Montalvo, 22, was riding a southbound No. 4 train with his gal pal, Maritza Lopez, 21, when he allegedly swiped a cell phone from a sleeping 19-year-old straphanger about 4:00 a.m. Saturday, sources said.

The teen, Alexander Herald — who was riding the train with a friend — noticed his phone was gone and spotted Montalvo holding it as the train rolled into the Fordham Road station, sources said.

Herald and his friend confronted Montalvo, and the argument spilled onto the platform, sources said. Montalvo pulled out a blade while Herald’s pal got a token booth clerk to call 911, sources said.

But when he returned, he found Herald — who had been stabbed multiple times in his head and body — lying in a pool of blood, sources said.

The wounded Herald was taken to St. Barnabas, where he was in critical condition.

Montalvo and Lopez fled the scene, but where caught on a nearby surveillance camera, cops said.

The couple, who live in an Inwood apartment just across the Harlem River from the scene of the crime, were later found and arrested.

They were each booked on charges that include attempted murder, harassment, and criminal possession of a weapon.

They were waiting to be arraigned Saturday.
