The Bronx road rage driver accused of slashing a 42-year-old man, then punching his victim’s 11-year-old son in the face, is off the road and in custody.
Cops busted Abdul Mamouda, 22, after he sped away from the Friday afternoon attack in Mount Hope, police said.
Mamouda’s victim managed to record the suspect’s car speeding away from the scene — despite having a bleeding hand and tending to his injured son.
The confrontation happened at 1:30 p.m. when the victim and his son were nearly hit by Mamouda’s black Nissan Maxima, police said.
As the victim argued with Mamouda, the younger man barrelled out of his car with a box cutter and began slashing at his opponent.
He then reeled back and punched the victim’s son, who was standing next to his dad.
After seeing an image of Mamouda’s Tennessee license plate on video, cops quickly scoured the area.
Mamouda, who did not have a valid driver’s license, was double parked a few blocks away. His box cutter was recovered from the car.
Police charged him with assault, reckless driving, harassment, acting in a manner injurious to a child and for driving without a proper license.
A judge ordered him held on $2,000 bail during his arraignment on Saturday, according to court papers.
