The NYPD helped solve a Lower Paxton Township burglary case from May last year when they arrested three men in a burglary ring in Bronx, according to Lower Paxton police.
On May 5, 2013, Lower Paxton officers responded to the Central Dauphin East High School off Rutherford Road where they found over $70,000 in equipment, including laptops, desktop computers, cameras and other items had been taken from the school, according to police. No suspects were named until the department suddenly received a call from a New York city police detective in that department’s major case unit, according to a township police press release.
Apparently, several laptops with high school property stickers on them were found among other suspected stolen property after detectives in the Bronx area uncovered a burglary ring that was targeting schools in their jurisdiction, the release states.
Axel “Flacco” Alcantara, Pedro “Spooky” Delacruz and Aury German, all Bronx residents, were charged in a 113-count Grand Jury indictment out of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, according to township police, who assisted NYPD detectives with information in the case.
Specifically, the three men were charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy in the fifth-degree for the burglary of Central Dauphin East High School, police said.
The men were charged with similar offenses relating to other schools in the Bronx area, the release states.
