A teenager was charged with attempted murder Saturday after he allegedly threw a 9-year-old boy off the roof of their five-story Bronx building.

Cops arriving on the scene Friday evening discovered the 9-year-old, identified in news reports as Freddy Martin, lying on the street unconscious and unresponsive, with severe body trauma.

Freddy was then transported to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where he remains in critical condition, the NYPD said Sunday.

Meanwhile, police arrested Casmine Aska, 17, who lives in the same building as Freddy on the corner of Nelson Avenue and Featherbed Lane in Morris Heights.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
