On Friday, June 7, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. visited a senior citizen housing development with United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Regional Manager Lynne Patton and Assembly Member Latoya Joyner.
The development is located at 900 Grand Concourse and has 298 units. It is managed by the Mid-Bronx Senior Citizens Council, Inc., and receives funding from HUD. During the tour Diaz, Patton and Joyner spoke with residents about various issues of concern at the building.
“We need to ensure that we are connecting with our seniors on a day-to-day basis and maintaining our current stock of housing tailored to the needs of our older constituents. Thank you to HUD Regional Manager Patton and Assembly Member Joyner for working with me on behalf of our senior population,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
