FDNY hosted the 16th Annual Blessing of its Marine Fleet on Monday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m. at South Street Seaport – Pier 16, Manhattan.
This maritime tradition is meant to ensure safe travels and included a procession of fireboats along the East River led by Fireboat Three Forty Three of Marine Company 1, – FDNY’s largest fireboat, followed by a colored water display.
