Rising Ground makes every effort to help provide children, adults, and families the resources to succeed. Programs like ParentChild+ help to empower parents of kids by delivering resources like books and educational toys to the homes of low-income parents. Graduates of ParentChild+ enter kindergarten with skills an average of 10 months above their age, are 50% better prepared for elementary school than low-income children who do not attend the program, are less likely to need special education or remedial services, less likely to repeat a grade, more likely to graduate from high school, and have a higher lifelong income of $600,000 to $1 million more than their peers who did not participate in the program. Combined with other services and supports, children have a greater chance to thrive and succeed.
