About the Boys & Girls Choir of Harlem

The Boys and Girls Choir of Harlem has laid a foundation of musical instruction to generations of children since 1968.  It is upon the foundations of this legacy the choir is being reborn. “Our country needs more opportunities to share our positive values and common points of culture with one another. The B&GCH sings and shares music, goodness and the determination that is at the foundation of who we are as a country and a people.” The Choir intends to change and save lives by way of providing artistic and cultural experiences to the youth of Harlem and spreading the gospel of love, tolerance and humanity across the country and the world. B&GCH is dedicated to continuing this mission, reminding audiences once again of the importance and power of music.
