Anthony Thorne, 30, Arrested For The Murder Of Brian Reese, 36

On Saturday, November 27, 2021, at approximately 0219 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 600 Thwaites Place, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the neck.

EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 30-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed incident.

Bronx, NY 10456

Charges:

  • murder;
  • manslaughter;
  • criminal possession of a weapon.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
