Annual “The Bronx Salutes America” Fireworks Celebration

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and New York City City Council Member Mark Gjonaj hosted the borough’s official kickoff to the Independence Day Celebrations, the annual “New York Salutes America” boardwalk festival and fireworks extravaganza at Orchard Beach located in The Bronx.

Over 10,000 people attended the event, which was free and open to the public, with the fireworks presented by the world famous Grucci.

“This was a great fun-filled evening to spend with friends and family,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. “This is one of our borough’s jewel events, where people from across the city can experience the best that Bronx has to offer, as well as celebrate our country’s independence from tyranny.”
