Ann M. Lewis Passes At 87

Ann M. Lewis, age 87 of Somerville, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at her daughters home in Branchburg.

Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna DePugh. She lived in Yonkers, NY and Somerville for 11 years before moving to her daughter’s home, 14 months ago.

Ann worked for 15 years at the Eastchester Savings Bank in New Rochelle, NY in the life insurance department until her retirement in 1986.

She was a very active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville and belonged to the Single Women’s Group in Somerville.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Edward P. Lewis who died in 1993.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Ann Marie Lewis of Branchburg and her brother, James DePugh of Randolph.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Burial will be private.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
