On Saturday, April 21, 2018 at approximately 05:35 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an aided person inside of 946 Bronx Park South, apartment #2A, within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a conscious 57-year-old female with a laceration and trauma to her head and a 52-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a laceration and trauma to his head inside the hallway. EMS responded to the location and transported the victims to Saint Barnabus Hospital where the female was listed in stable condition and the male succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
