It was reported to police that on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at approximately 1355 hours, inside of 1211 Evergreen Avenue, the FDNY responded and extinguished a fire at the location and found an unidentified male, deceased inside of the premises.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, an unnamed 15-year-old female individual has been arrested in regard to the above-listed homicide and charged as follows.
Charges:
- arson;
- murder;
- assault;
- criminal mischief;
- reckless endangerment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
