Clyde D. Dover, 34, of New York, was arrested by Pocono Mountain Regional Police on drug charges on November 5.
A Bronx man was arrested last week near Blakeslee after police found him driving with a suspended liscense and in possession of marijuana. A search of his car later turned up thousands of dollars worth of cocaine and marijuana, according to Pocono Mountain Regional Police.
Clyde D. Dover, 34, was stopped while he was driving on Route 115 north of Blakeslee around 2:30 a.m. on November 5, police said. His license is suspended in Pennsylvania and police smelled marijuana inside the red Chevrolet Blazer. Dover was taken into custody and his car was seized.
Police later got a warrant to search the car and found a “large amount” of both cocaine and marijuana. The cocaine has an estimated street value of around $5,400 and the marijuana could be sold for $2,700, police said. Dover was arraigned before Stroudsburg Magisterial District Court Judge Kristina Anzini, who set bail at $105,000.
Dover was taken to Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, police said.
