Thirty people were apparently injured early Monday morning in a crash on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers that involved more than two dozen cars.

None of the injuries were serious, the report said. The crash was apparently caused by road conditions after a wintry storm moved into the area.

The accident occurred near Desmond Avenue in Yonkers around 11:00 p.m. The accident was nearly cleared early Monday morning by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety, Lohud reported.

Icy conditions caused a 27-car pileup overnight in Greenwich, leading to a nearly three-hour closure of Interstate 95, the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Department reported via Twitter and Facebook.

The multi-vehicle accident occurred between Exits 4 and 5 just on southbound I-95 after 11:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
