The NYPD is investigating the death of a 27-year-old who was shot in the Bronx Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to a 911 call at 270 E 165th Street in Melrose around 5:25 p.m. when they found the victim, Timothy Hairston of 1755 Weeks Avenue in Bronx, unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his torso.
EMS transported Hairston to Lincoln Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
