Someone who purchased a winning lottery ticket in the Bronx has missed a chance to become a millionaire.

The Powerball ticket expired on Sunday without anyone claiming it. It had five of the six winning numbers.

Tickets expire a year after a game’s drawing.

The Bronx ticket was purchased February 2, 2013 at the C&C Discount on East 167th Street.

The Bronx ticket is one of five second-place Powerball tickets worth $1 million each that were purchased in 2013 and have yet to be claimed. The other tickets have not yet expired.
