MTA Metro-North Railroad will run extra trains for all Yankees vs. Phillies 2009 World Series home games.

Games 1 and 2 of the 2009 World Series will be played at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, October 28th, and Thursday, October 29th, at 7:57 PM. Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) of the 2009 World Series will be played at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, November 4th, and Thursday, November 5th, also at 7:57 PM.

Please note: Backpacks and other containers will not be allowed into Yankee Stadium for all post season games. Check the Yankees’ website here for a complete list of prohibited items.
