Smiarowski was born April 20,1962, to Francis and Audrey Mitsakos O’Loughlin in Bronx. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers.

Smiarowski is survived by her son, Joseph Smiarowski of Staten Island, NY; brother, Thomas O’Loughlin of Bronx, NY; sister, Karen Hawkins of Norwood, NJ; longtime companion, Sal Barone; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, January 13, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Final disposition will be private.
