Creating Unity in the Community kindly invites you to attend Parkchester’s second Annual Kwanzaa Celebration. We will be delighted to have your participation and support a program that will benefit the community.

Creating Unity In The Community celebrates our diverse cultures along with a show case of creative arts and stylish vendor products at The Islamic Cultural Center Of North America. Come and join the celebration of traditional family values, community responsibility, commerce, self-improvement, and our diverse cultural connections on Sunday and Monday, December 26, 27, 2010 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at 2006 Westchester Ave. Bronx, NY 10462. Contact: 646-671-2876 or 718-892-5555.

Food, raffles and children games. Bring a gift for a child, admission: free.

Creating Unity In The Community is a unique gathering of artistic expression that celebrates our diverse cultures. There will be a wide range of various cultural performances, speakers, and stylish vendors. We expect approximately 200 to 300 guests.

Sponsors and exhibitors will provide programs and resources. The forth of the seven principle of Kwanzaa is collective economics (Ujamaa) that represent the African Market. This is a great source of entertainment, networking, marketing, and trading. The Market place is also the perfect environment to exchange community information.

We would greatly appreciate if you can also support this effort by making a donation of toys, books or a financial contribution.
