The New York City Department of Health will be spraying pesticide in the Bronx and Queens next week in an effort to reduce mosquito activity and the risk of West Nile virus.

The spraying will take place Monday, Sept. 8, between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Targeted neighborhoods in Bronx include Clason Point, Castle Hill, Harding Park, Soundview, Schuylerville and Throgs Neck and Unionport.
