The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached photos for a robbery that occurred within the 44 Precinct in Bronx.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to the police that February 15, 2019 at 1920 hours an 89 year-old male entered his building, located at 3071 Park Avenue, where the individual followed him into the elevator. The victim exited the elevator when it reached his floor and the individual grabbed him from behind and placed him onto the floor where he began to rummage through his pockets. The individual removed the victim’s heart medication and fled the scene down the stairs.
The individual is described as a black male who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
