The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached surveillance video and photos and is sought for questioning in connection the homicide described below within the confines of the 43 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Thursday December 20, 2018, at approximately 06:16 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 2167 Westchester Avenue, within the confines of the 43 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers found an unconscious 23-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his lower back. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
The male individual is described as a male black, in his 20’s. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jacket, blue jeans and red shoes.
