Help Identify An Assault Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying and locating the individual depicted in the attached photo in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx/Transit District 12.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, November 26, 2018, at approximately 11:25 a.m., inside of the East Tremont Avenue and West Farms subway station, near the escalators, a 19 year old female victim was approached by an unknown male individual who tried to engage the victim in conversation. As the victim began to walk away, the individual approached the victim from behind and grabbed her around the neck and brought her to the ground. The male individual then fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim suffered pain, bruising and abrasions to her neck and arms.

The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, approximately 50 years of age, with a bald head. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782).
