A brazen burglar was caught on camera walking down the street carrying a cash register he’d pinched from a Longwood tire shop, police said.

The man in the video kicked in the door of New Era Tire at 1029 E. 167 Street, near Longfellow Avenue, at 5:40 p.m. on October 11, 2017, police said.

He grabbed the cash register and fled. Moments later he was captured on security camera footage, gripping the cash register to his chest as he walked calmly down the street, police said.

Police could not say how much cash he had made off with.

The thief had not been arrested as of Wednesday morning, police said.
