Bandits Steal Cabbie’s Keys, Cash After Ride To Bronx

Two men stuck up a cab driver and robbed him of his keys and wallet after taking an early morning ride from Queens to Bronx, police said Sunday.

The bandits were picked up on Roosevelt Ave. and 82nd Street in Jackson Heights around 6:00 a.m. August 31 and driven 20 minutes to their destination at Bryant Avenue near Freeman Street in Foxhurst, where they pulled a handgun on the 34-year-old cabbie, cops said.

“Give me everything you have or I’ll shoot you,”
the thief holding the pistol said, according to police.

The driver forked over the keys to his cab, as well as his GPS, cellphone and wallet which contained $80 and his license, police said.

 The men ran north on Bryant Avenue.

Surveillance video released by police on Sunday shows the robbers strolling down Roosevelt Avenue shortly before their crooked cruise.

The first suspect is described as black, around 30 and 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11. He wore a gray shirt, dark colored pants and white sneakers.

The second is described as black, around 30 and 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11. He wore a blue hooded sweater, dark colored pants and blue sneakers.
