Bronx Trio Charged In Shoplifting Spree

Three Bronx women were arrested after they allegedly shoplifted about $1,500 in items from four Greenwich Avenue clothing stores Tuesday morning.

Police said they stopped a vehicle near 319 Greenwich Avenue around noon and found 18 items that had been allegedly stole items from Ralph Lauren’s clothier Rugby and women’s clothing stores Talbots, LF and Victoria’s Secret during a shoplifting spree. Police said the articles are worth $1,472.99.

Brittany M. Bailey, 19, of 440 Carpenter Avenue, Apt. 4B; Gabisha Y. Gayle, 20, of 3044 Wallace Avenue, Apt. 1D; and Felicia A. Mcdonald, 23, of 1603 Given Avenue, were each charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy. They all posted $500 bonds and are scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on December 21, 2011.
