Help the Bronx Documentary Center continue to be a vibrant, community-oriented gallery and educational space for documentary film and photography.

As a non-profit organization, the Bronx Documentary Center relies heavily on our dynamic team of volunteers to provide support for our exhibitions and public programs.

The Bronx Documentary Center depends on community volunteers throughout the year to staff the door and tables at events, install gallery shows, staff our photo library, paint walls, manage the gallery during regular opening hours, and so much more.

Our volunteers are also dedicated and committed to our center’s mission, which is to share various facets of the documentary arts with underserved Bronx communities and the cultural community at large.

If you have any questions about volunteering, you can email our volunteer coordinator at volunteer@bronxdoc.org.

If you are interested in volunteering for the BDC, please fill out the application linked here.

The Volunteer Coordinator will follow up within a few days.

New volunteers are required to attend an orientation, which is held on a quarterly basis.
