A job fair was held at the Andrew Freeman Home in the Bronx Thursday, offering those seeking new employment in 2017 the opportunity to apply for a new career.

Over 40 organizations attended the event hosted by Councilmember Vanessa Gibson and Mid-Bronx Council Services.

Among the organizations present were city agencies, the military, the YMCA and not-for-profit groups.

The free event served as a networking site and offered free resources and tools for Bronx residents seeking employment.
