Shepard Fairey is all over New York City this weekend, making his way from downtown to uptown and leaving his artistic trails in the mean time. After completing the mural on Houston Street, Fairey headed to Bronx and this time, he enlisted the help of graffiti artist Cope2 to help out with a portion of the mural. Just like the mural on Houston Street, Shepard Fairey covered a large slate of wall space with cutouts and Cope2 layered his signature tag over the stagger of prints.

This mural comes in time alongside the Houston Street mural to gear up for Shepard Fairey’s solo exhibition, “May Day” at Deitch Projects set to open on May 1, 2010 and a simultaneous pop-up shop opening on April 30, 2010 at Reed Annex. Check out the mural and remember to drop by the exhibition as well as the pop-up shop for exclusive goodies and a quick retrospective look into Fairey’s creations.
