The Bronx Museum of the Arts is seeking the public’s help as it plans an exhibition focusing on the evolution of baseball in the borough.

“Baseball in the Bronx” will look at amateur baseball from the 1940s to the present day.

Museum Executive Director Holly Block tells the Daily News she’s looking for historical and personal photographs of local youth teams, adult leagues and softball teams.

Submissions are due March 16, 2013. Individuals can submit up to five photos.

The artifacts will enhance a show that will include historical images and objects from various institutional collections.

The exhibition will run from April 13, 2012 through May 13, 2013.

The museum is partnering with the 161st Street Business Improvement District.
