Help Identify A Robbery Suspect


The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individual and vehicle depicted in the attached video, sketch and photograph in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at approximately 07:53 p.m., in the vicinity of Grand Concourse and E. 156 Street, the individual approached the 29-year-old male victim as he stood next to his car. The individual shoved the victim into the driver's seat of his car and told him he was a police officer as he patted and searched through the victim's pockets. The individual produced a handgun when the victim resisted and the individual asked the victim if he wanted to get shot. The individual removed $340 in cash and the victim's cell phone before he entered in the rear of a black 4-door sedan and fled the scene southbound on Grand Concourse.

The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 5'6" to 5'9", 190 lbs., with acne on his face and a light beard; last seen wearing a black coat and blue jeans. The vehicle was described as a black Mercedes-Benz 4-door sedan. There was no description provided for the driver of the vehicle.
