A live grenade was discovered Friday in a building across the street from Manhattan College.

The device was found in the hallway of a building on Waldo Avenue near West 238th Street in Kingsbridge around 3 p.m. Friday.

The building is used by some students as off-campus housing, but the school is off now for winter break.

The grenade was removed and taken to Rodman’s Neck.

The FBI said it is a low-grade explosive and said there’s no connection to terrorism.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
