Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person of interest in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at approximately 1845 hours, in front of 949 East 174th Street, the 51-year-old female victim realized she was no longer in possession of her wallet. Among the items inside the wallet were 8 credit cards. The ensuing investigation determined that on February 13, 2019, beginning at 1845 hours, the unidentified male used two of the victim’s credit cards to make over $400 worth of unauthorized purchases at various locations.

The person of interest is described as a male, black; last seen wearing a black coat with fur-lined hood, a red/blue hooded sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers’ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
