The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified males who are seen in the attached photos and are sought in connection with a grand larceny in transit within the confines of Transit District 12 / the 40 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 1040 hours, the victim, a 27-year-old female, was aboard a northbound 6 Train. When the train doors opened at the Cypress Avenue station, Unidentified Male #1 snatched her Beats headphones and fled the train and the subway system along with Unidentified Male #2. The headphones were valued at $350.

Photographs of the suspects are attached and available at DCPI.

They show the unidentified males shortly after the incident in the vicinity of Bruckner Boulevard and East 139 Street.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
