A new movie is out that was shot in Bronx by a filmmaker who is native to the borough.

Chris Raffaele took about five years to shoot and edit “The Grasslands,” a film about a man who tries to find the person that killed his father 20 years earlier.

It was shot at several Bronx landmarks, including Pelham Bay Park and restaurants on East Tremont Avenue. The filmmaker says many places were happy to help him shoot his piece of work.

The film is only available to be seen online right now.
