Hundreds of people are expected to weigh in tonight on a proposal to bring a professional soccer stadium to the borough.

The New York City FC, an upcoming professional soccer team, is looking for a permanent home, and the public town hall will allow residents to debate the pros and cons of building another complex on River Avenue near Yankee Stadium.

Pros and cons:

01. pro: removal of unused parking structures
02. pro: boost to local business
03. con: increased traffic
04. con: building cost likely shifted to tax payers
