Azar'El by Lucian Sperta

Dukkha by Lucian Sperta

As his work deals with the aftermath of childhood sexual abuse, now he looks towards the tragedy that has recently occured in his sister’s Suzette M. Nunez’s life. On April 14, 2012, a massive 4 Alarm fire raged through the Van Nest Morris Park Section of Bronx.

It took 200 fireman and women, with 20 injured, 2 serioulsy to put out this blaze. It raged across 4 homes displacing 11 families. Mr. Sperta is asking for any one to donate to a paypal account created to raise monies to assist his sister and family to start their lives over again. Mr. Sperta asks in this hour of need to “reach deep in your heart and discover the miracle of giving.”

Mr. Sperta stated “I am in shock, as we all are for the huge loss of poperty and damage, it reminds me when we were kids, my sister and I and our entire family were burned out. I was 12, she was 6. It’s like living a nightmare all over again.” Again he reflects, “It pains me to see my sister in so much anguish and grief over her families loss, we all are thankful that all got out with their lives, it just pains me to feel its a nightmare being re-lived all over again.”

Suzette M. Nunez is currently unemployed and she has two sons Justin and Jayson that live with her.

Lucian A. Sperta says “We dare not ask ‘why me’, we dare ask ‘what are the lessons learned from tragedy and loss’.”
