Police are asking for your help tracking down a man they say tried to rape a woman in Bronx last month.

Investigators say the man, who is seen in surveillance video, approached the victim from behind near East 197th Street and Claflin Avenue early on September 20, 2014.

He allegedly grabbed the victim and pushed her between two parked cars, then demanded she come with him.

When the woman screamed for help, the man ran off.

He is described as around 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and a mustache.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.

All calls are strictly confidential.
